Take a
step back in time and visit EAA Chapter 279 at Cranland Airport.
Cranland Airport is on Rt. 58 in Hanson, MA, 2.0 miles north of Route
106 and 1.5 miles south of Route 27. Heading north
from Route 106, once you cross the railroad tracks, look for a sign with an airplane on the right. The
dirt access road to Cranland is 20 yards past this sign. Heading south from Route
27, look for the entrance to the airport just before the railroad
tracks. The airport shares a dirt access road with 781 Monponsett St.
If you are travelling from
Route 3, take Exit 9 and go west on Route 106 until you reach the
intersection of Route 58. Turn right on Route 58. One you pass the
railroad tracks, look for a sign with an airplane on the right. The
dirt access road to Cranland is 20 yards past this sign.

Cranland airport (28M) is adjacent to Monponsett pond and is easily
located. Our runway is 1845 x 60 and runs North/South (36/18).
